Hello Lakes Community…
With the winter season in full swing, now is a great time to sell your home in The Lakes neighborhood. With days on the market low and a strong median sales price, there is a lot of demand for homes in this area. Whether you’re looking to take advantage of the winter wonderland that surrounds this neighborhood, or simply looking for a buyer-friendly market, there’s no better time to put your house up for sale than right now. So if you’re ready to make your move, I’m ready to support you!
Here are tips for selling your home this winter:
1. Optimize your home for winter weather and potential buyers. Make sure your house is well-insulated and properly heated so that potential buyers can comfortably explore it without worrying about the weather outside.
2. Highlight winter activities in the neighborhood to appeal to families with children. Whether it’s skiing on the lake, ice skating at the local rink, or attending seasonal festivities like the Luminary Loppet, be sure to highlight all of these winter activities in your marketing materials to attract families looking for a winter-friendly community.
3. Be flexible with scheduling showings and open houses. With fewer days on market and increased demand from buyers, you may need to be more accommodating when it comes to showing your home.

Building a home on a city lot
My husband and I are “remodeling” a new home around Lake of the Isles. We tore down the existing home, and kept the existing foundation (basement). I have to say, the process has been awesome due to the team of professionals we chose to help us. One consistent comment I hear from my neighbor is they are tidy, courteous, and professional. This is a huge win for us as we want to disturb our neighbor’s enjoyment of their home during this process.
